White Grand Glitch - update
I was tired when I first posted!!! Now it’s the right tone! E3!
On E3 there’s some kind of reflection or delay in the sample....
Hear the difference between E3 and C3 in the attached mp3!

Re: White Grand Glitch
Same here. Can't hear anything unusual.
Please note that the perception of such sounds (and their harmonics) can (and will) be influenced by many things - either in the audio chain making the file sound, or even in your hearing
Update: I also listened to your second sound file - with the same result (nothing special). There are definitely harmonics you can hear, and they vary from note to note of course. But that's entirely as expected. And please re-read the above

Hi Papamotif.
I sometimes have the same feeling that you, concerning higher resonance sounds on these keys around E3 (E4 for me on NS3 88, seems to be the same note E3 on yours, have you a 76 keyboard?). It involves all grand piano XL for me, and i noticed also an artefact, concerning Ital harpish on these notes (sound of wooden click, when releasing the note, only hearable on Eb4,E4,F4). Already posted about this.

Where do you hear that? In your phones, on studio boxes? Couldn't hear or see anything from the sample.

Re: White Grand Glitch - update
i am using my headphone Beyer Dynamic DT 770 PRO.
It must be the natural sound of the piano strings , but that is just something annoying what i hear in the White Grand.
I hear the same in the Royal grand from E3 and it stops at B3.
It is just a personal preference i think. The White Grand doesnt sound good comparing the Royal Grand for me.

I think if there is anything at all wrong with this sound, tone, key, whatever, and if that "wrong" has to do with delay, anyone who is not playing your instrument by himself can't hear or see that. I don't hear anything unusual. Attack seems normal to me on both C3 and E3

Re: White Grand Glitch - update
Isn't this "character?" The most over-used and valueless word on this board?
One person's character is another person's sampling flaw. Well at least it doesn't weigh 750 pounds.
