Layering two piano samples

Hello all -

Recently purchased a Stage 3 (my first Nord) and it is amazing. Being a Nord newbie, I tried to search the forum to see if this has been answered but didn't have any luck. Apologies if I'm going over old ground. I would like to be able to layer two different piano samples from the piano engine. There are plenty of videos for layering piano/synth, piano/strings, piano/organ etc, but I've yet to find any for piano/piano. I've attempted a few things but I must be missing a step or doing something wrong. Can someone explain or provide a link to how this is done ?

Thank you !

Switch on both slots A and B (if only one is active, press both buttons at the same time to activate both panels. If one LED is on and the other is flashing, both are active. The flashing LED indicates the slot currently being edited by the front panel).

On slot A, set the first piano to your liking. On Slot B, set the second layered piano to your liking. There is an extra "layer detune" button in the piano section to detune the two pianos against each other for a richer, chorused sound.

What analogika is calling a slot is labelled PANEL on the Stage. Very useful he mentioned the detune feature - I sometimes forget, too.

Besides, read the manual one piece after the other: It's worth it. Your new machine is awesome!

You could even add two more in nsmp format using the synth section if you wish! Not the same realism though, but could make the overall sound even more interesting....
