Hi everyone!

Simply questiiom here: Wich Nord has the best B3 organ implementation in the stage/electro range? Yes, i know that NS3, along with the NE4, N5 and N6, share the same CD2 engine but they have different tweakbility once you decide to dive into menu settings. So, what do you think about this?

I think the electro's have more options regarding the B3 settings compared to the stage series. I don't speak about the front panel layout but the general B3 parametres that are accessible through the corresponding menu. I can not compare them one by one as I don't own a stage and there may also be variations between the models, but generally the electros are considered to be more detailed in this section. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

I am just fine with my E4, even without layers, splits and seamless transitions. Wonderfull things to have but I'm not in desperate need for an upgrade at the moment.

NE4 has much better build quality. Knob stems are brass. On the NE5 the knob stems are plastic. Also, NE5 does not have a clean organ sound, some “drive” is always present. NE4 has clean B3 sound if you want it. Cheers.

Cutting corners...like the OLED Screen, increased memory, ability to split and layer, and set list? Not entirely sure that brass knobs v. the increased features of the E5/6 can be considered cutting corners, at least in all areas.
