NS2 // The sample select knob blocks at max 128

Hi,
I have a pb with the sample selection knob on my NS2.
The sample select potentiometer blocks from time to time at the max memory of 128
and I can no longer access the sounds placed in memories above 128.
On the other hand if I select a program which contains a sample placed at a memory number above 128 I have access to it. But if I turn the knob it
hangs sometimes at 128.

Does anyone have any idea of the possible origin of the problem? This comes and goes.
Obviously, this causes problems during performances.

Any other MIDI devices connected?
I had a similar problem when I was routing MIDI thru the iPad and, including another MIDI controller, back to the Stage...
The Stage sent the CC and the iPad routed it back... (thankfully, I just tested this setup, never used it live)

If you turn the knob slowly, does it select each number sequentially? The encoder on my NS2 wore out after 5 years, and I had it replaced. If it seems to work properly I would disconnect everything as it may be midi related as Martin suggests.

Indeed it was a midi problem of CC sent & received.
The number 128 could have made me think of it.
