NS-3 Octave Shift for Preset Program

Post by WRR 1 »

Very new to the NS3!!

I have found a factory preset C:05......and would like to octave shift it down 1 octave (all instruments in C:05)........and save it to another location.

I see octave shifts for organ, piano, synths.............is there an octave shift to change an entire factory preset?
Please explain how to get this accomplished.

Many thanks for any/all help !!!

There is no per-program octave shifting which affects all engines. There is per-program transposing but only 6 semitones up or down.

So you'll have to turn each engine one octave down and then store the new program.

By the way, do check the official manual as it's very well written and complete.

Check to see which of the three engines (organ, piano, synth) are active. For each active engine, press the left octave shift button once (maximum three buttons).

Check to see if the other slot is switched on (if only one slot button is lit, it is not. If one is flashing and the other is lit, the other slot is switched on). If it is, switch to the second slot.

Check to see which of the three engines (organ, piano, synth) are active. For each active engine, press the left octave shift button once (maximum three buttons).

Hold "Shift" and press "Store" to save to a new location.
