NS3 No USB MIDI signal out

I’m testing a setup triggering iPad sounds from NS3. I use an USB MIDI cable to a Focusrite iTrack iPad dock.
No sound. No problem when testing from other keyboards USB MIDI out with the same cable, so I’m confused...
Tested both global or extern channels out, but no luck. I’m out of problem solving ideas...

What are your MIDI settings on NS3? List them all.

Well, its probably not the NS3 anyway. My MacBook receives MIDI from it with the same cable and settings. The strange thing is that my iPad/iTrack dock is not, but receives from other controllers like my Seaboard Rise (cable, not bluetooth) Have also checked with monitoring apps. The combination NS3 to iTrack seems to fail.

Maybe it fails because it "assumes" the NS3 requires power (too much), you may do a test if this is the case by using a powered USB hub (between the iTrack and the NS3).

Interesting theory, I will try that when I get home in a week! That would explain why I’m not remembering this problem at home, probably the MIDI signal was routed through a powered hub there. But, at the same time a recall something about iTrack not being able to work with USB hubs, so maybe its not that. I will check it, anyway. Thanks..
