Hi,

Just bought a new Electro 5 HP73 and I love it. But it didn't come with a case. And I'm very confused as to which of the Nord cases will fit it.

Am I right that the HP73 and the SW73 soft padded cases are different?

And does anyone know of a UK supplier that has the HP case, please?

Bought this one for my Electro 4 SW73. Nice case, fits great. The extra length (this one is for a 76 note board) leaves room for the expression pedal.

I had a 5HP and the nord case for it, It is not the same size as the 73sw case.
It is a little larger.

Just make sure you get one that is advertised as for nord HP and you should be fine.
Dont get a 73sw case it wont fit. I also have a 73sw case, it doesnt fit a HP only a SW.

Take a look at the Gator G-PG-61 Pro-Go ultimate 61. Fits my ne6hp73 like a custom case. With no pitch bend or mod wheel, the 73 fits great in the 61 key case.. tony

Had one for my Electro 3 HP. Best purchase ever. Light, protective and a good value.

As an alternative you can try to find a soft case from Fusion, but they’re getting harder to find. The company is somewhere in Yorkshire, so you can give them a ring to see what’s available. I have 2 Fusion cases now for my Stage and Electro, and they are good quality.

This really surprises me, since the case you mention (not the slim case) is 44.45 cm (17.5") wide, internally. My ne6HP73 is 33.5 cms (13.2") wide - that's a big difference and therefore I fail to see how this case could possibly fit like a 'custom case'.

Just buy a fusion bag case , you'll thank me later. The keyboard 06 model is the right for your keyboard, I have the same, good as new for 3 years ,daily usage.. Good luck!

I was going to post on this very subject today. I have an electro3 [73 key] - I have what I believe is an official soft case - it says "nord electro virtual electromechanical" on it anyhow.

It's a ridiculously tight fit though, I've bust the zip apart in the past trying to squeeze the keyboard in - so I'd be wary of just buying one without seeing it in the flesh if that's possible these days.

Have I possibly got the wrong case...I can't see a way of uploading photos to this messageboard....

Another vote for the Gator G-PG series. Much better than the original Nord bags.
I also keep reading very good reviews of the Fusion bags, but I never had the chance to see or try one yet.
