Which piano is used for sampling the White Grand?

Everything about Nord keyboards in general; which one to choose, the sound manager, sample editor, and general discussion about the sample and piano libraries.

From all the hints given it appears to be a Steinway B :)

Hi Pablo,

1974, they had a Steinway right in the L.A. desert? In Basie's Pablo years? And that's the one SampleTekk borrowed in Stockholm, when they sampled the White Grand? I take this as a nice hoax, fake news as you say nowadays. Great humour. Or do I miss a link?

strictly humor -- that's the most famous white grand I can think of

hoax/fake news are terms of evil coined by the orangutan currently residing in the White House, and a very humorless topic

Thanks, pablomastodon! Humour is not my best discipline - I'm sometimes not so sure about other people I don't know much.

Sussko, here are my collected assumptions about Nord piano sounds.

Please Pablo, keep your politics off this forum. This is not the place for it.

Hi John, it was me who started the "politics" talk - just in another pitch than Pablo. I just was alluding to standards in human interaction.

Besides, I'm quite convinced the original White Grand wasn't white. Just a marketing name to allude to the character. I believe, it's the third image on that Sampletekk page.

I didn't see your earlier "political" post, it's just getting tiring, every where you look people have to make inappropriate political comments. I don't come here for political BS, there are too many other forums for that. This is about our NORDS.
