Using Korg R3 arpeggiator with the Lead 2 rack
Hello, I just got my first Nord. An old lead 2 rack version. I’m using the R3 as a midi keyboard. I would like to use the arpeggiator from the Korg since is more user friendly and with more options. I cannot make it work, with other keyboards I just need to set the midi channel and it works. Seems I’m missing a basic setting here.
Any kind soul can give advice on how to make it work? Thanks

Do the notes themselves play from the Korg? Not all synths send the midi of the arpeggiator to the MIDI OUT port - reserving the arp for onboard sounds only. If you can play the Nord from the R3 and it's only the arp that doesn't seem to be working, then check to see if there's a setting on the Korg to transmit arp MIDI or not (that may be an optional setting, or it may not be possible on that board at all).

thanks! I can play from the R3, and only the arp doesn't work. I can play the R3 arp with other devices, such the Reface CP, with out further menu diving, just plug in. That's why I thought it was a preset on the Nord Lead, since he is the only one.23skidoo wrote:Do the notes themselves play from the Korg? I found it! PRG CTRL -> A.on (arp MIDI on)
it's always so easy, you just need to know the name of the street

I was wrong, it didn’t work out.
This is only to send arp from Nord to other devices.

Maybe you need to check the MIDI channels setup on the NL2 a d/or use a computer and a MIDI Monitor to see on which channel the R3 sends the Arp notes.
