Hello! Would anyone happen to have a Stage 3 program for “Everybody Wants to Rule the World”? There is a program called “80’s Summer” on the Stage 3 that sounds similar, but is still missing a particular brass/choir sound. If anyone has any input it would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks!

Hi-
Although I use the NW2 for the bell sound at the beginning, the voice is on the left, main synth on the right of the split.

Hi all,
Just got my Stage 3 (new Nord owner) and trying to dial in my sounds for some band songs where I play keyboard accompaniment.
I loved the sample on this one works great but wondered if I could get advice on a couple other sounds:
1) The very first notes of the song - I believe D A D F(#) - almost like a piano/bell sound?
2) Verse 1 & 2 (e.g. “welcome to your life”) it’s a softer sound like he dialed down the saw or something? Ideas what to use there?
Bonus newb question:
How do I balance the volumes? When I play the sample above it’s much louder than even if I bang away at the keyboard with other sounds (e.g. 80s Summer Synth).
Thank you!

Hello, and welcome to the Forum! You'll find the the B3 sets back in the mix a little when played along with the piano, so I typically back off the piano and then adjust the synth level from there. Though settings vary quite a bit, for songs with a piano I will usually set the piano about -2db and then adjust the synth level to where it needs to be. For additional flexibility I typically "morph" the synth Level to my Control Pedal so I can fade in parts easily. Good luck to you.

My band has recently been learning this song and played it a few times live. If you really dig in, there are a lot of sounds to cover and my Programs are not quite getting all of them.
If you haven't watched it, check out the Rick Beato YouTube video "What Makes This Song Great?" that has a nice dissection of various parts of the song and it helps to isolate some things.
I have several Programs I will work on uploading here sometime in the coming days when I have time. They almost need a video tutorial to show how I'm using various splits and layers.

Hey friends, I just had a moment to upload my Programs and do a YouTube video explaining how I use these. Please pardon the sloppy playing. It's late on a Sunday and I didn't even have my sustain or control pedals hooked up today.
There are three programs total that I save into a Song. Intro, Verse, Bridge.
Hope this is helpful!!!

Can you point me to the PAD 12 - Fear of light and the EWTRTW samples? I've got the programs you listed and the other instruments, but can't seem to find those samples. Thanks!

Hi,
you could look into the Nord User Sounds database at https://nordusersounds.com/sounds, or just do a search for the sample names in this forumd ( search functions are very helpful ) and you will find them in these threads:
