newbie q - where is the "Factory Restore file" for Lead 3 ?
Greetings -
Just got a used Lead 3...very nice!
A question; how do I do a Factory Reset?
On the Nord site, it says: > https://www.nordkeyboards.com/nord-fact ... structions
note that it says I need a "Factory Restore file".... and where is the Factory Restore file?
I guess that's the question.
I've looked everywhere. I've even watched a youtube video that shows where it is....except that for a Lead 3, it's not there. >
It's not on the Download page, it's not on the....etc.
any thoughts?
thanks - Richard

Re: newbie q - where is the "Factory Restore file" for Lead
thank you for responding, baekgaard - well, the answer is "I don't know."
I saw the file you've identified before I posted, and wondered if that's what I need. However, since Nord specifically says I need the "Factory Restore file", and your file is called "Factory Sounds"....well, I don't know.
I've sent in a support request to Nord, asking for directions. If they respond, I'll post here. thanks - Richard

That's the file, containing all NL3 Factory Sounds for you to Restore (I would not mind the name).
Here you find the other NL3 files including its latest OS (in case yours is not updated already) https://www.nordkeyboards.com/downloads ... ord-lead-3

Re: newbie q - where is the "Factory Restore file" for Lead
Hello!
I have a Nord Lead 3, and the file they have available needs to be transferred by SysEx from a PC to the keyboard. It was easy enough for me to use Midi Ox to transfer SysEx via midi cable.
Nord has OS, manual, & sound manager files here:
https://www.nordkeyboards.com/downloads ... ord-lead-3
The sound library for the Lead 3 (I think this is what you may be looking for):
https://www.nordkeyboards.com/sound-lib ... ory-sounds
hope that helps!
