I thought you'd be able to program the arp. But I come to find out that you can't define a patterns note!!
My old Korg M-50 can do this over the place.

Manual and specifications are publicly available for almost any product nowadays, reading them before buying is a good way to prevent disappointments such as this. The M-50 is a workstation, the NS is a stage piano, different instruments. However, there are arpeggiators Apps for computer and tablets that can be used for this purpose, as a complement.
