Hi there,
I was wondering, if the Nord Stand EX is compatible with the Nord Electro 6D 61 - version.
It just lists the Nord Electro 6 HP...
Thanks for your answers
It’s not compatible in that you can’t screw it in to the 61D like you can with the HP but you can Velcro it to the bottom of the 61D. I did this with an Electro 3 (as shown in the picture) but I have also done this with an Electro 6D 61 as I upgraded earlier this year. It’s pretty stable as a stand and saves bringing along a separate keyboard stand. The Electro still just about fits into the Nord Softcase with the Stand Ex attached and the unscrewed legs also fit, although it does obviously make the bag heavier and the seams fray over time with extra weight and pressure.
Cheers
John

Uh, that's interesting. Thanks for your reply. I was looking into custom table leg options from furniture stores to have a more custom feel. I am still doing some research. Will post pictures once it's finished.
This was my first attempt. A black shelf with Wurlitzer piano legs and brackets attached. I found it a big bulky to take to gigs though and that’s why I went with the Stand Ex and Velcro.
Good luck, I’d be interested to see what solution you go with.
Cheers
John

Hi, you seem like someone who thinks 'outside of the box'! I wondered if you could think of a way I could attach a fold out stand to my Electo5D 61 that would remain on the keyboard in the case.
I perform a lot in care homes, and a very quick set up would be best. Ideally, I take the keyboard from the soft case, unfold the legs and it's ready to go.
I created a custom stand combining the Keyboard Stand EX with the Music Stand, in case it may be useful this is the link to the full description with pics. post155347.html#p155347

Image looks great, I notice you don't have the cross braces at the back (cause they don't fit?). What stops the legs folding out when pressure is placed on the keyboard. Any images of how you velcroed the base leg supports to the Nord?
Definitely looks very cool - quick to setup?
- My first post, planning on getting a NE6 (61 keys) with a setup like you have descripted
I've used all of the top keyboard stands including the nord legs. also the K&m and Quicklok stands inc the Aluminium ones which are very expensive.
If I was you I would look at the table top keyboard stands. Cheap light easy quick to set up and look a bit like the nord legs when in use.
