Training with headphones

Hi.

I have a Nord Stage 3 keyboard. I use headphones when training, not to disturb the family.

Do you have suggestion, how I can make it possible to play music through the same headphones, at the same time as they are plugged into the Nord Stage (so I can play along the music)?

Thank you.

Hello materix,

and a very warm welcome to this wonderful forum of nord enthusiasts! I have an electro 5D, so my advice is a bit of a speculation, but your Stage 3 may have the same monitor input which will be routed to the headphone output. So you could plug in your smartphone or tablet there and will hear the music together with your keyboard playing in your headphone. Have fun! Sunny regards from Germany.

Yup, like Tasten-Bert says th Stage 3 also has the Monitor in just like the 5D.
It's a 3,5 stereo input where You can connect any sound source.
If it's like in the 5D it doesn't react to overall volume, so You'll have to set the desired volume on the sound source.

It's to the far right in the connectors:

Thank you for the friendly advice!

Then I just need to find a cable to connect my iphone or ipad to the stereo input.

I have tried to google a bit without results.

Has anyone found a cable between iphone or ipad to stereo input?

I suppose you have an iPhone 7 or later - which does not have a headphone jack.
In this case, there should have been a lightning to 3.5mm jack adapter in the iPhone box. Then you will only need a standard "3.5mm stereo audio cable"

There are options for direct lightning to jack cable, but I think it is much more expensive in comparison.
Make sure you have an adapter and get a bunch of those stereo audio cables ;)
