Is it possible to make a bass sound like this one below (nice fender P bass) with a layered Rhodes MK4 and then combine it into a sample so I can put it in the sample library and still have a piano in the right hand? Nord Electro 5 btw. I would give my right arm if someone knew how to do that.
Yes you can do it, with the sample editor. But first you have to make a layer of this two sounds, record a few notes with a software like audacity and save as wav. Then import the wav to the sample editor in order to generate the sample instrument. Tip: It's better if the sound you record is dry so that you can apply effects afterwards. Good luck!

I’ve tried. I’m not very good at it. Looking for a Hail Mary if someone can help!

You are going to be awesome at this and you are even going to be proud of yourself when you are able to manage this, I'm sure!

I have been able to make samples, but I'm not fully satisfied at the result. Will keep trying and see what I get.

You have my sympathy: The Sample Manager seems to behave like a wild horse, which needs to be tamed, at least for a novice like me ...
