Hello everyone!

I want to bulk dump all programs from one Nord Rack 2 to another Nord Rack 2 (end up having 2 similar units with the same programs). So I can work at home and at the studio place.

Has anyone done this before?
Is it even possible? Or do I have to dump all programs to a PC first and the upload everything into the 2 Nord Rack unit via SySex?

I also have 2 PCMCIA cards, one for each Rack.
Can I bulk dump all the programs stored in one PCMCIA card to the other PCMCIA card??
Any info or experience doing this is much appreciated!!

Just connect the MIDI OUT of NR2-A to the MIDI IN of NR2-B to send the Dump from A to B (see NL2 manual, Bulk Dump section, for detailed instructions on what to do on both the sending and receiving rack)

Thanks! Thats what I thought by reading the manual, but I still dont know if you can bulk dump the programs stored on the PCMCIA card.

Also, in case something goes wrong, will it not be better to dump everything onto a PC first?
I was wondering if someone in the forum has done this before and can tell by experience what the results are.
