Just curious if there are any known update issues with Mac. I just spent an hour trying to update the OS in my new C2 and finally just got an old PC out to do it.
It took less that a minute, but the Mac kept hanging. Mac is a Pro with all updates etc. I updated my Electro 3 with the Mac and there were no problems I did all the trouble shooting on the Nord website but to no avail. Cheers Michael

It'e Lion Hanon. Its all updated,the machine is 6 months old and I closed all apps. I was chagrined to use my PC as I had sworn of off Windows. lol Mike

Hello Mike,

I would send Nord tech support a request. However, I wouldn't be surprised if there's compatibility issues with Lion.
The C2 update app may require Rosetta which is a binary that Apple intentionally omitted from this latest OS.

I know for sure that the C2 app works with Snow (has Rosetta).
This is one of the reasons that I switched back to Snow from Lion. I still have Lion on ext hd (I provide some tech support elsewhere).

Great! Thank-You Hanon! It gave me several errors and kept shutting down. It was a hoot for a bit there when the C2 was down and out. The Sound Manager seems to work fine. I will drop them a line. Thanks for your help Cheers Mike

Yes it seems there is a issue with the C2 update utility and OSX Lion. The Fellow was not specific, but I guess I should keep my PC up for C2 updates. Good to know as it will minimize my frustration and hopefully that of others here!! Perhaps the situation will change in the future. Cheers Michael
