Nord lead 4 Pulse Width Adjusting

Hi fellow nord people, I haven't found how to adjust the pulse width in nord lead 4.
I see that LFO has PW, but that is obviously for modulation purposes.

The manual clearly says:

"On many synthesizers (including the Nord Lead 4) the pulse width can
be adjusted, to set the timbre of the pulse wave. The more narrow the
pulse width, the more “thin” the sound will be."

However, I didn't find clear answer from this. Or maybe I am just missing something or misunderstanding...
I assume there already is a post regarding the same question, just didn't find one...

:thanks: for help in advance! :keyboard2:

That's unfortunately one of the limitations of the Nord Lead 4. No PW knob...

However there's several ways to get past this.

First, there's the two narrower pulses already built in the wave selection.

Secondly, you may set the first LFO to Square, Rate to 0, set it to re-trigger on keystroke (KBS on), route it to PW and set the amount of PW with the amount knob.

This will virtually work exactly like a PW knob.

You lose one LFO, but then again, all synths have their quirks.

Ps. I love my Lead 4

Have fun!

Gabriel

Oh well! That's a sweet workaround! Funny how they are afraid to add it to the manual but instead just mention "it's possible"

big thanks!
