I was just beginning to look at battery-powered keyboards when I came across the idea of using a power inverter and running my Electro 4HP (or Stage EX) off a battery. Has anyone done this? Or does anyone know the actual size of power inverter needed? I'm based in France. It looks like you can pick up an inverter for about €40 that would do the job. I'd then play through a battery-operated amp. Early days for this thought but quite excited by it.

See this thread, which I found searching for "inverter".

Re: Running on a battery
Thanks. That's interesting, useful and slightly alarming. I'll contact Nord before plugging in. I'm not sure if the one I ordered is a sine inverter...
