When creating my custom NS2 programs, I generally start with a stock or custom program, tweak a few parameters (ex: effects, A/B slots, layers, piano type, drawbars, etc.), then save the program under a new name and bank
My question is...is there an efficient way to check every parameter in a program, or at least pick out the differences between 2 programs? Manually checking the value of each parameter
is extremely tedious, especially since many have been adjusted on-the-fly. Let me know if you have any good solutions.
The sound manager info does list out some program parameters, but it doesn't cover many of the values that I've tweaked for my programs (ex: drive, compression, volume, etc.)
My end goal is to delete custom programs that are similar to or less versatile than other custom programs I've created over the years. I also just wanted to see what tweaks I've made and like so I can get better at building new programs to fit my needs.
Thanks, Aaron

Re: Viewing and comparing program parameters
Thanks for the link maxpiano!
I followed the 'Johannes' post on how to setup the patch editor. I was able to download ctrlr and the nord panel, but I'm having trouble getting my NS2 to send values to the panel. Will have to mess with it later this week.

Re: Viewing and comparing program parameters
After setting up Ctrl to listen to NS2 ports you need to use the "Send MIDI Ctrl" function of the NS2 MIDI Menu.
