Sample Editor 3 looping problem

In 2.0 you could compare the waveform side by side and align the loop to make it seamless.
Is this not possbile on the newest edition?

Edit: The view trim-option. The new editor is seriously useless if this isn't included. How are you supposed to make smooth loops?

I'd agree there. there are a few things that NSE3 does rather oddly. rather than going to the middle section of a waveform, when enabling loop it goes to end point and a good 20 / 30% of the waveform, so moving the highlight focus then means spending time fine tuning the sample loop start and end. ridiculous really.
