I am considering buying a Nord Wave at some stage in the future to supplement my Stage EX.
Forgive my ignorance, but if I were to (for example) download Mini Moog samples from the Clavia Sample Library, would I be able to alter filter/LFO settings of the Moog sounds or would I be limited to applying effects (and maybe layering Wave sounds) to the provided samples? I assume that ASDR variation would be easily achievable.

Hello DoctorC,

The Nord Wave uses the samples just like oscillators, which can then have modulations applied, pass through multimode resonant filters, and be modulated by ADSR controlled envelopes.

In short, just like any synthesizer.
