Dear all:

Below you will find a link to my unofficial compilation of Nord Grand factory presets, based on the OLED display on my brand new instrument. I prepared this chart for my own use, before I began deleting and adding sounds and altering Programs. You are welcome to it for your own personal use, but realize that it comes as is, with all warts. I generated this chart because I couldn't find any source of detailed information on sounds and settings. (Lists of sounds can be found on the Nord Sound Manager, but they contain no data on settings.) The piano, as delivered, did not contain the White Grand (just as the Piano 3 I bought in 2017 did not contain the then new, although already available, Grand Imperial).
If any of you are interested, I previously posted similar charts for the NP3 and NP4 presets, and they are likewise posted on this Forum.

This is a great document

I wish Nord would add a documentation feature to Sound Manager to get a document like this for all Nord instruments. Would also help to manually duplicate programs from one instrument to the other as close as possible (i.e. from Nord Stage 2 to Nord Stage 3 or Nord Electro 5 to Nord Electro 6)

You gotta believe Clavia has something like this stashed away internally for all their instruments, but not intended for public consumption...?

Kurzweil used to publish patch appendices for their 90's-era instruments, though they were not quite as detailed as lawman's.

I don't own a Nord Grand (and at the moment I think I will not for quite a while), but this great piece of work deserves a sound


And I agree that it would be great if NSM could be extended to provide at least a "verbose dump" of program settings.
