There have been many threads but none that I could find that really cleared up how to do it.
I was able to use Onsong lyrics reader to send midi control changes when selecting a song on an Ipad.
This was great as selecting a song would send control changes to both my Nord E5D and my Yamaha MX61.
Problem is I needed an Ipad and a powered USB hub along with a couple of USB midi cables on stage.
Issue is when I had everything plugged into my small powered mixer...I got a hell-ashious Hum when using
all the USB gear...
Since the Nord E5D already has a setlist function...I just need to know how to get it to also send control changes LSB80 on another midi channel to set up my Yamaha MX61
I can rearrange patches on My MX to correspond to the NE5D if need be.
Any help or links would be great

NE5 does not send Bank Change messages in a programmable way (as Nord Stage instead can with its Extern section); you can check what it sends it using a MIDI Monitor on a computer (or MIDI Wrench app on the iPad) and if doesn't match the MX banks then go for rearranging the patches on both MX and NE5 to be on a single bank (128 patches), so you won't need any Bank change.

Just a side note, on top of what @maxpiano already said: The hum is most likely caused by a ground loop, originating from long wires connecting the ground on both of your instruments and the USB hub via the USB cables.
If you instead use the MIDI inputs on your keyboards (via a MIDI interface connected to the iPad instead of USB, of possible) then there is a galvanic separation and the hum will most likely go away. MIDI used opto-couplers on the input side to ensure there is no ground loop.

Re: Midi out in Setlist mode to another keyboard
Thanks Guys
I think since my Onsong is already programmed for all my sets and I now what midi info to send to both boards I will
take baekgaard's suggestion and try the https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00MR ... _qh_dp_hza
and hope using USB midi from the Ipad to the IconnectMidi2 then 5 pin din midi to my two boards will eliminate the hum
