E5 B3/Bass

Post by afroskully »

Last night I sat in with an organ trio on a Crumar Mojo. I know this is apples to oranges here, but I was blown away by how clear and loud the bass was. (going through one yamaha dxr10)

I have never been able to get anything close to this bass sound with the B3 on the electro. What settings do most people use? B3? B3/bass? lower register drawbars settings? Please help this organ trio newbie sound somewhat respectable (left hand sloppiness notwithstanding)

=)

On Mojo, but also on Nord C1 & C2, you can add the basspedals to the lower section of the manual. Are you sure that was not turned on?
I started to sample the basspedals from my Hammond for the same use, but first attempt didn’t turned out so well, I got too much harmonic beating, and messed up with the scale.
The project are not complete dead, if I am getting time and inspiration, I will give it a new try.
