Lead sound of Music and lights (Imagination)

We will soon be covering "Music and lights" from Imagination.
While the 'what-a' bassline (who seems to be coming from an MC-202) will be played by my bass player with some weird effects, I need to cut thru the mix with this very distinctive lead sound (in the first 8s of the intro for example).

Anyone knows which machine this is coming from ?
And tips to recreate the sound, using only 1 of the synth engine ?

I've done my homework and I thought it could be interesting to share.
Therefore find the bundle file below which contains the following split :EP and strings with the MOD, lead for bridge, main lead.
