I'm looking for some help sampling the organ part from lucy in the sky with diamonds. I've got a very well isolated track ( but I can't seem to get a good sample out of it. Is there anybody that can help me get this classic sound for my nord electro 5?

Thanks vortmaxx! I did see these and they're quite good; However, I'm wondering if anyone has every tried to sample the original recording with the editor. I've been messing around but can't get a good sample. Any ideas?

It will be hard to do from a sample. Except for the first note, the beginnings of each note also include decay of the previous note. And even the first note, sampled, wouldn't last long enough before the next note would start, so you'd have to truncate it, and create a smooth loop, and still somehow program the proper decay/release.

Sounds about right...that's what I've been struggling with. It's a shame NORD hasn't sampled an original, the lowrey DSO sounds so great!

Nice one , i have done my quick version on Motif XS for the sake of interest.

(I think the original has more vibrato speed).
