Transition problems from 5D to 6D?
Will the 6D accept my samples and set lists from my 5D or would I have to start over from scratch?

Samples=yes, programs and setlists=no.

Worse... 6D doesn't have Set Lists, so you can't recreate them, either. The closest thing it has is Organize which re-orders Programs. This essentially means you have fewer "slots" available, and they are all actual programs rather than pointers. So if you use a sound in 10 songs and want to place it in those songs in Organize mode, you'll need to have 10 copies of that program instead of one (i.e. taking up that many program slots).
