Hi,
Just got my NS3 88 & I can't find a lush string section, plenty of other types but need a full section. Thanks & apologies as I'm sure this has been asked before but I'm new here.
Thanks

Maybe use 2 panels (A & B) together with same sample but 1 octave apart ?

I agree - this is a good way of fattening up strings. Haven't tried it on the Nord, but with some string samples, multiple layers of the same sample can sound phasey, so you may get better results layering 2 different string samples an octave apart. Some subtle chorus plus reverb can help.

Try the Hollywood String Section here:

I created my own Patch / Sampled from my Korg Kronos for these strings. The term "FAT" is very subjective, I would call these "Authentic in a mix" strings. I'm sure you can fatten them up with some A1 Synth in Panel B.
Enjoy!

Thanks for the downloads kbrkr.
Not sure about the .nwiproj file though as without the original samples I'm not sure that it can be used...
