Dual stand or velcro for Electro 3 HP and a microkorg xl?

I'm about to buy a new electro 3 hp... was wondering if anyone is currently using an electro with a microkorg and what the stand setup is? Since I'm buying a new board I can probably get a deal on a dual stand, but I'd much rather have the microkorg off to the right side. I've heard that velcro would work, but not really thrilled about sticking velcro to my board. Figure somebody out there probably has a setup that works...

You could use something like a tripod laptop stand for the microkorg. That way you could place it as far to the right as you like.

I faced the same problem when I added a microKorg to the family. I looked at Laptop stands too, but nothing was quite right. I ended up getting a custom stand made out of Perspex.

That is one cool looking stand!
I imagine it takes up a little more space for transport. But that is a small price to pay for the looks of it!

Glad you like it.
It's not perfect, but it does look cool!

Back in the 1980s I used Velcro to attach a Casio CZ-101 polysynth to the top of another, larger Casio keyboard (a CT-202 preset ensemble), and it never caused any problems. The CT-202 was on the top tier of a very solid steel H-stand, with a Hohner Pianet T electric piano on the lower tier. Ah, those were the days...

Hohner Pianet T

Similar to this, but even more substantial. And heavy...
