Hello ! I'm new here !

I'm new to the world of digital piano and synthetizer and I realy like the look and sound of nord keyboard, especialy the stage 3 and electro6.

I'm visualy impaired (practicaly blind) and I wondered if the screens on the stage 3 and electro 6 are obligatory to be able to use them fully?

I am glad you are here because I love questions which I have never thought at until today. But I am not quite sure in what sense you are talking about 'screens' and 'obligatory'. With 'screens' do you mean the displays only or the entire user interface, i. e. all the buttons, sliders etc.? And 'obligatory' in the meaning of that there are any helpful features such as Braille-coded or similar? If this is your request I'm afraid there is nothing by now which could assist you. When I said screen, I refer to the oled display. I can learn and remember all buttons and knobs with no problems, I'm just affraid that to fully using these keyboard, I need to read on the oled screen.

The display is quite contrastful, it is almost like black and white. Have you ever had the chance to test a stage or electro in real, at a store or a friend? If not, would a foto help you? At the nord website you can find views of both instruments in good size. I wonder how you can realize all the red LEDs at the buttons. Would you give me an idea of how you can handle it?

Yes, I see that it's very contrasted but, to read it, I will need to be very close to the screen and it's not very practicable, I will try anyway.
I did not notice that there were leds ! What are they used for ?

To give you an idea, imagine you are completely blind but you know exactly where all the buttons are. I work like that.

Perhaps the models with the organ section with real drawbars would easier to adjust than the models with the buttons and LEDs?
One issue is that, for example, while there are lots of knobs in the NS3, many buttons are multi-function and so they do different things when one presses the Shift button. I do not know whether that would be a difficulty, but perhaps it is something to keep in mind.

Aaah, it's very difficult to see if the led is on.
Appart from the led, I see all buttons and knobs but not the text, but it's not a problem, I can learn and memorize all of that.
Usualy, I use my phone to "zoom" on text and read them.

Puh, that looks all very tough to me. I have now tried to imagine I'd be blind. With closed eyes I tried to remember the functions of the buttons.
