Need help with sound creation.

So I recently sold my Nord Stage 2 and upgraded to a Nord Stage 3. The sound fifth lead is no longer available on the 3 so I had the previous owner send me the file, but it isn’t compatible with the 3. Is there any way if I upload here if someone could make it on their stage 3?

If you can upload an MP3 of the sound, it should be pretty simple to recreate. It cannot be done from the NS2 program file, as I don't have that instrument any more.

Is this a Program, Synth sound or a sample you need? The Programs and Synth sounds from NS2 are not compatible with NS3, but if it was a sample, you could import that into NS3. I have both NS2 and NS3, but not near them at the moment...plus I deleted all the factory Programs from my NS2 years ago. Happy to try and find the sample for you if that's what it was.

I looked on Nord's sample library here and there is a Fat Fifth sample there that may be similar.

It was actually called Fifth wheel actually... and it was a program I think and not a sample. The best I could do is link a video of the sound

Let me take a look.

No fifth in that sound that I can hear, straight synth/guitar/violin type sound.

Well the only difference is that there’s overdrive on it. It’s called fifth wheel cause the wheel makes the second pitch change to a fifth.

Here is a quick approximation, I did not spend a lot of time on it, so it is just a starting point. Wheel brings in the fifth (fundamental still there), vibrato is AT.
