Hey Nord,
a big big THANK YOU for supporting even discontinued products. This is not a given thing and highly appreciated here

Seriously, huge thanks to Nord here, this is wonderful. This is the kind of behavior that keeps me so loyal to Nord over so many years!
So, is it the new EP's but not the filters that are now supported? Seems like the Dyno Filters aren't available for the 2/2EX right?
If we just got the close Leslie, I'd actually think about getting an A1 instead of Stage 3! But that's probably pushing it haha.

They're not going to add new physical models to the Stage 2 platform at this point.

Given this news from Nord today, I am considering replacing the existing Rhodes EP's in my Stage 2 with the Enhanced versions. Any reason to go with the XL versions? The XL versions do offer full velocity mapping according to the Nord website, but I'm not sure how important that is on the EP pianos. Available memory is also a bit of a factor for me on my Stage 2.
Any opinions or advice would be most welcome. Thanks!!!

I am deciding whether do this at the moment on my Stage 2 76. I would need to delete at least one piano, so I'm not sure its worth it at this point.
If this update meant we got the EP filters there would be no argument, but without it I might just stay on the current versions. I have updated the OS anyway.

Matt, I'm thinking the same thing about the new Enhanced EP's. Without the filters, which from the Nord demo video really do seem to make a difference in the sounds of the EP's. I'm not sure the enhancements would be worth it. I only play live in a pretty loud 6 piece rock band, and the nuances would probably be lost.

What about the 3band equaliser?

I can only speak from experience with the NS3, but for me the higher resolution versions of the EPs alone are a big upgrade even without using the new filter modes.
