Hey all. Just joined. Bought an NS3 last year and other than that new to Nord. Love it!

Anyone have thoughts whether Nord would sample an Erard someday?

No big deal, just curious on odds.

Thanks!

They love „quirky“ and unique pianos and have an historic Mozart fortepiano in their Chris Maene collection here:

So this should be right up their alley. Suggest it to them via their contact form, I say.

Erard, French brand, played by Chopin a lot when he was in Paris, made in the south of France in Ales....well, a long time ago...

OK, so looking up "Erard" on Wikipedia... the Bassoon pedal would be fun to experiment with ("put leather against the strings to make them buzz").

Now that we are talking about interesting french piano manifacturers: What also would be fun to play is the double grand from pleyel.
More info(in german) and some nice pictures beyond this link: http://egri-pertis.com/doppelfluegel/

It would be fun to have combined sympathetic string resonance like this historic grand has, when playing on two seperate Nords, connected via MIDI

Although we will never get into this satisfaction, it is always nice to have dreams ;-)

Found this Video on Vimro about the Erard piano via Google.
That fast note repeating would fit the tripple sensor on the NP4 :D
