Can't wait for these to come to the NE5 - long awaited and sounding very sweet.

Hmmm... I wouldn't count on it. Maybe, but I don't think Nord has typically done OS updates for discontinued products, and these sounds/features require updates to the OS. But they should at least come to the NE6 and NP4.

I think anotherscott is right. We get samples for older products, but never new features AFAIK.

A bit disappointing - only for NS3 Owners and no release samples or really big versions with natural sustain without loops...

I hope at least the XL samples trickle down. I'm less concerned about the filters, but I would love to have the extra velocity layers on my Stage 2EX.

Has anyone tried it yet? Are there any audible differences in the new L or XL samples to the older and smaller ones? Is there more (or more natural) sustain, especially on the Nefertiti sample?

Did you try them out? If not, play e.g. the lower registers in the EP2 with Dyno 1 filter...

... and if you prefer it to be less prominent, then remember that the Soft Release tames them down a bit

In general I think you're right, but I remember that the Nord Stage 'Classic' got an update to make it compatible with the v5 piano library when it was already discontinued for a while, maybe this was an exception, I don't want to raise false hopes.

I don't understand.
For example, I have a Nord Piano 3.
Can I install the new "enhanced" sample on it?
Has the filters to be downloaded separatly for Stage 3 owners?

The only question for me is what happens to the Nord Piano 4? It's current and shares hardware with the NS3. I'd like to think my odds are good picking up the EP enhancements there as well as the NS3C.
