Hi Guys,
I just can't find a way to find out in which bank any certain channel sound is stored. When I hit the pad and curious to know, where that sound is stored, what I see after selecting "drum select" is -- --
any solution for this?
thanks, Andras

Hi Andras,
With 'drum select' a drum sound can be copied from the drum bank to the channel of the drum kit you're editing. So it is not a reference to that drum sound in the drum banks but a copy, that you can then use and/or freely edit.
-The drum bank is a pool of both factory and user made drum sounds. It makes it easy to reuse a drum sound in other drum kits. I usually start new drum sounds from scratch, but when I want to reuse a drum sound on the ND2, I have to go to the drum kit that has that specific sound, press copy, go all the way back to the kit I was working on and press paste. With the 3p you can do the same, but it is much easier to store drum sounds that you really like into the drum banks for later use.
-When you press the 'select drum' button, the 3p waits until you rotate the dial to select a drum sound from the drum banks that will replace the drum sound that is currently in the channel of the drum kit you're in.
-The 3p does not keep track from which drum bank a drum sound in a kit originated, partly because you are free to completely alter the sound once it is in the channel of the kit. If you are unhappy with the editting you did on the sound, you can always recall the original from the drum bank.
Hope this answered your question..
