Piano/Piano Split on Nord Electro 6

Hello!
I recently purchased an Electro 6, and I want to create a split that is between two pianos (for instance, rhodes and clavinet). I searched on the forum and found answers to this for the Electro 5, but wanted to see if anyone has experience creating this with the 6.
Thanks!

Or also is it possible to load a piano sound into the sample editor to accomplish this?

A single layer nsmp file: yes. A multi-layer npno file: no.

Most piano files are npno so does this make this impossible to do? I'm surprised you can do this on the 5 but not on the 6

But... You can't have double pianos on a NE5...
The Piano can be assigned to Upper or Lower, but not both at the same time.
You can of course have a sample of a piano in the Sample section, and play it at the same time as a piano from the Piano section, but not 2 pianos.
The only instrument You can do on both Upper and Lower at the same time is Organ, for splitting or Upper receive of different drawbar settings (but You can't have e.g. a B3 on one and a Farfisa on the other).
Or have I missed something really fundamental...?

Yes, I've been doing some more research on this and the only way is to find a sample of a piano and put it in the synth section. Does anyone know of some solid rhodes or clav samples out there?

Your only choice is to use different sound engines (eg a piano sample in the sample synth section) or to use a nord stage, which is able to use the same sound engine twice.
