And that power has 10% to do with the sound and 90% to do with the person playing it :-)

Can't wait to catch Cory again when he comes back to Zurich in early Nov. Funk Apostles is a great band, Nick Semrad is also a brilliant keyboard player. Both those guys are synthesis experts, they know their oscillators, they know how to combine them, tweak them, mod them and LFO them. But in the end, particularly for Cory, the sounds are rather simple and pure. Like dhpb-nord said, 10%. That guy could blow across a half empty beer bottle and turn it into a spine tingling solo.

This video has always stuck with me. Killer band on toy instruments. (decades before Fallon did it with Metallica)

Any idea how to recreate the moog lead sound though? I would love to get that sound right on my Nord stage 3. Thanks a lot everyone!

I have a Stage 3 program for other synth sounds used by Cory at nord-stage-3-programs-ns3p-ns3pb-files- ... 16294.html The one in the video is a little hard to hear but you could try tweaking the 2nd synth with the program, turning the FREQ down a little to make it a bit softer. Good luck to you!
