Hello all,
Does Setlist Mode respond to MIDI program receive as well as being able to send send program changes via MIDI? I want to send program changes from my Korg Kronos as well as be able to send program changes from my Electro 5 to my laptop where I'm using Gig Performer.

You probably know by now that as long as Program Send is on in MIDI menu the Nord will transmit the Setlist Program number when selected. So that's program 1 to 50. It may even transmit a Bank Number as well but I haven't checked. The neat thing is that you can select any of your four programs within a Setlist and this will not affect your external module. It only sends a Program Change when you change setlist patch.

I have exactly the same problem. Seems like Nord never quite have managed to crack this nut.
I can send program changes from my yamaha motif for the first 5 programs in setlist 1, but then nothing... It's really weird.

Yes it does respond to program and bank changes. I dont have the E5 anymore but from memory you send a Bank and then Program number. I think if you just send a Program change you will only call up programs from the first bank.musicbysterling wrote:Hello all,

I used an iPad app called Setlist Maker to set up all my patches when playing live. At the time I was playing in 3 bands so I had a Setlist Bank for each.
To access program 15 in Setlist bank 3 I sent these messages
Bank Msb 0
Bank Lsb 2
Prog change 14
Midi stuff always starts at 0. So to call up a particular bank or program you subtract 1.
This is what the actual MIDI message looks in Hex (n is the global Midi channel on the Nord)
Bn 00 00
Bn 20 02
Cn 0D
But all you need to is enter the numbers in decimal into your master keyboard.
To access program 15 in Setlist bank 3 I sent these messages
