Fed up of waiting so im having a new one. Given that there wasnt a mass of difference between prices on the Stage 3 76HP and the HA88... I have a Stage 3 88 on its way which should arrive Monday.

Fingers crossed the courier doesnt get hijacked or something. Would be just my luck lately

Well I am pleased to report the Stage 3 has arrived.

Thankfully it has all 88 keys

A little bonus, it actually works

Very happy, its a magnificent thing. Hopefully the end of all the issues now! Despite procedural frustrations with the warranty process it has not taken away my love of the board or the brand. In a digital package there is nothing that comes close to the stunning musical expression that you get with the Nord stuff.

Aha, im running a similar set of samples to what I had in the Stage 2EX but all the highest quality samples now instead of compromising some XL down to L sizes.
Lady D, Bose, Bright S4, StudioC7 both 1 & 2, Royal, Silver and my hybrid split made from the Concert Steinway Ambient/Close

I can now add some high quality uprights in there too which is nice for a different character every now and then. The charm of the Bambino has kept me returning a few times lately

I stuffed the rest up with many of the EP's as they are all quite small in size compared to the AP's. Nerfetti and the Ballad 1 Layer EP are my two favourites

Im also fumbling my way around the V3.0 sample library at the moment. I see they have given us some new Pads at the mothership which I will load tomorrow and give a try out.

Its nice not to have so much restriction from lack of memory I have to say !
