NS3 arrange samples, is it possible?

When I search for a specific sample I use list mode on my NS3.
Recently I added a lot of new samples and now the sample categories are cluttered.
I prefer to have all my samples grouped together (strings, brass, pad, etc).

To achieve that I want to move a sample to another place in the list and insert it there. In organize mode the samples are swapped which is not good for my purpose.

Is this possible with the Sound manager?

The only way I know how to do it in Sound Manager is to move existing samples to create an empty space in the list and then move the new sample to the space.

From the front panel of the NS3 you can use Shift/Organize (just like with Programs or Songs) when in list mode to accomplish what you want to do. There appears to be a bug in how this function works (@baekgaard has submitted a report to Nord) so you may have to fix a couple of samples that unintentionally get moved slightly out of order, but it’s an option.

Something I've found useful is to create a very small sample of anything (or nothing) and save it in the Nord Sample Editor as "-----WIND-----", "-----SYNTH-----", etc, to use as headers for the bunches of samples of each kind.
With the dashes it's easy to spot when scrolling over a header.

Attaching my own if someone wants to use them...
