Hi, I'm new here. My name is Lucky.

I recently purchased Nord 5D73 & a Half Moon Switch. I'm trying to use the Menu to set the Half Moon Switch but can't find Rotary Control in the menu Settings? I'm holding Shift & turning Menu Dial & it scrolls thru all the Keyboard instruments?

What am I missing?

On page 10 it says: "Menus are browsed with the MENU dial, and values are changed with the same dial while pressing SHIFT."

That's what I'm doing but I'm not seeing anything except instruments? Piano, Organ & Synth variations. Not seeing a mode for Half Moon Switch On, Off etc.

Any ideas?

Did you activate the system menu first (i.e. press shift and the A button at the same time)? Whatever is below the buttons or dials are the functions activated by holding down shift when you press/dial.

I didn't notice that in the Manual? I'll give that a try..

I've got the Rotary Control Type set to Half Moon & I don't hear any difference when switching Half Moon Switch fast or slow? Any suggestions?

For some of the pedals, the current state is shown in the same menu (i.e. the one where you changed to half moon switch). I don't know if that is also the case for this menu, but you could check to see if the state is shown and if you can see a change when you manipulate the switch.

And then just checking: Are you playing an organ program that has the rotary switched on (there are some organs where the rotary is not switched on)? Does the speed change (the LEDs light up to indicate so too) if you press the fast/slow (or stop) buttons on the board it self, and can you hear a difference? And do the LEDs change when you manipulate the half moon?

I called Sweetwater Tech Support & they determined there's a problem with the Cord in the Hal Moon Switch. They're sending me a new one. Should have it in a few days.. I'll let you all know.

I got the new Replacement Nord Half Moon Switch, attached it, plugged in the Cable, menu set to Half Moon & still nothing?

Can I control it using the Switch? Does it need to be operated from a Foot Pedal? Or?

Am I missing something? Could it be the Keyboard? I bought it new & it doesn't get played much.

That's weird, I never had any issues with it, I bought it when it was still affordable, like 150$...Don't you have a store close by that you could check it with?
