Android MIDI?

Hi,

does anybody have experience using Clavia keyboards with Android MIDI (specifically, Stage 2 and Electro 5 for me).
I bought an adapter yesterday (a regular USB 3 connector, provides same kind of socket as on a PC, e.g. to connect flash drives or a keyboard).
I tried "Synthesia" on both a phone and tablet. There is some response but it locks up after the first note. With a Roland "Go Piano" (cheap and battery powered but it seems USB class compliant) there were no issues.

I have a Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2012) connected with a USB OTG adapter cable to the Nord Stage 2 to run Setlistmaker.

For connection you need a USB OTG adapter cable.

I've just set this up recently but it works.

- TouchOSC on Android phone

This runs a customizable software MIDI controller - pots, buttons, carers etc.

- TouchOSCbridge on a Windows 10 laptop.

Desktop application that functions as a wireless link between the Android application. Has a virtual MIDI port.

- Bome MIDI Translator pro on the same laptop.

Linked to TouchOSC bridge through the virtual MIDI port.

- Bomebox.

Hosts the wireless network for both the laptop and Android phone. Also does the rest of the MIDI processing.

This way I can wirelessly send and receive MIDI with my phome phone to my rig.

There a lot of problem in the communications between Nord and Android! I tried to use MidiCommander in my tablet Samsung Tab-E but it didn't go. Now I use MobileSheetPro and it's ok, but this is not a midi program change but a program to read music sheet with additional functions (changing programs is one of that). I don't understand why MidiCommander doesn't go but MobileSheet goes!

I use the APP MobileSheetPro (mentioned already by Sassetto, also with a Microsoft Surface in Tablet Mode) and the APP Audio Evolution (A sequencer which can beside Audio also record and play midi events) with a Google Pixel Smartphone and it works perfect for me. Many other Apps (including Midi Commander) did not work - no idea why.

I don't know MidiCommander, but after reading this thread I went to my local dealer, bought a USB-C OTG cable, installed MobileSheetsFree (for testing), and connected my Android 8.0 mobile phone with the NS3.
The device automatically asked if I wanted to start MObileSheetsFree, since a MIDI USB device was detected. But the moment I open a PDF score in the App, my mobile phone freezes. Any experiences or possible solutions?

Cheers
