Can I set up email notification

Can I get the forum to send me an email notification each time somebody adds to a topic I have started or commented on please ?

At the very very bottom of every thread page, there is a little link labelled "Subscribe topic".
Click that, and it should do what you request.

Now I feel really stupid. I did look for quite a time- honest. Actually I think I saw it, but because it was ticked I started looking elsewhere.
When you click on it the tick mark disappears and the message unsubscribe topic appears which is what I hadn't tried.
