Copy Modwheel Morphs to Control Pedal?

Post by andstuff »

I just got an expression pedal for my Stage 3, and noticed that the presets I've been using have the morph setup on the mod wheel but not the control panel. Is there a quick way to just copy over the same morph settings from the modwheel to the expression pedal?

Failing that, is there a quick way to get a list of all morphs so that I could manually copy them? Thanks.

There is no way to copy a morph, but you can tell where morphs are assigned by a green LED that lights up next to the control being morphed. Lights on the volume level knobs and the drawbars will move when a morph is assigned and you move the morph controller. Make sure to check both panels.

Other than drawbars and volume, I can only see the starting value of the morphed control using the MONITOR/COPY PANEL button, not the end value, so that may need to be trial and error to recreate.

I found that the NS3 Monitor Copy Panel / Paste button can help with this.

I had a patch with a wheel morph assign connected to multiple parameters on both panels A and B. To copy the whole setting to the control pedal (or aftertouch), you can do:

1) Press buttons together: Monitor/Copy Panel + Morph Assign Wheel
2) Press buttons together: Paste (Shift + Monitor/Copy Panel) + Morph Assign Ctrlped
3) change to the other panel and repeat
