Hi guys,

Before I sold my Solina I sampled it, and tonight I finished my first sample. The violin (no modulation from the unit itself). Hope you like it, please send me your comments (be nice  ).

I will be uploading all my samples so stay tuned.

Well done Afghanza
I know this Instrument very well. Why did you sample the solina without the internal Chorus Effekt ?

Hi Stagechris, thanx for your reply. I sampled all the voices with and without the modulation. And a few combinations of the voices. I started with te non modulated samles, because I find them easier to edit. I am figuring out how to make a clean loop with a modulated sampled. But I do have the samples. And I plan to upload all of them.

Ok, super, I will love them...I like a lot the two that you have posted...But you had an old Soline, same one used by Pink Floyd or JM Jarre and you sold it???? Why? That's such a great instrument for a collector...

Hi Quai34, I sold it because it was gathering dust on the top shelf and I needed the money to buy the NE5. Because of an accident that ruined the top of my left index finger, it looked like I couldn’t play the guitar anymore. So I started looking for a keys instrument as a substitute. Not being able to make music was a terrible feeling. I ended up buying a Nord Electro 5D. Really blew me and the competition away. But in order to finance the thing I had to get rid of some other stuff. Like the Solina. It provided me a great amount of money for the Nord and now its not just gathering dust anymore, its new onwner will actualy play it :-) And now we all can enjoy the sounds in the samples I made.

Oh okay. In the old north sample library are already good solina samples. But maybe your samples have more pressure Than this ones from the old Library...The actual sound for me is only created by this chorus / ensemble effect. I'm really looking forward to your samples. :?
:thanks:

Ok, thanks for the explanation and I know the feeling after an accident, I'm lucky to be fully able to play keys after my paragliding accident so, good luck with your new instrument....But I was asking because I never sold anything since 1986 when I sold my Yamaha CS 15, Crumar Multiman S, Roland SH101 abd MC202 to finance a digital piano. A D50 and a Yamaha TX802 plus Rolans U202 and Mackie mixer CR 1604...still have all of them in France...I still regret having sold them now that " In store financing" is proposed everywhere...
Bud great choice with the Electro 5...,
