Hi,
new NORD owner here and new to creating samples and recording. What is the easiest way to connect my Electro 5 to my lap top in order to record and create my own wav files for the NORD sample Editor? What program is the most user friendly and what connections do I need to connect my instrument to my lap top.

Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.

Is your laptop Mac or Windows?

What is it that you'd like to sample? i.e. sounds from other keyboards? sounds you'd record with a microphone? sounds from recordings (CDs, whatever)?

I have windows. To answer your question, I guess all of them? But to start, I would like to make some samples with my own Electro 5 so I can layer and split 2 sounds from the synth section. But I walso want to be able to bring in some sounds from recordings or some "famous" parts of certain songs to make like a track or anything that would help for a live performance to try and mimmick sounds for a cover band

Thanks in advance
