Hi - Does anyone know if you can load Nord Stage 2 data into a Nord Stage 3?

Clear answer is no.
You have to read the settings on ST2, search for an appropriate sound (new names, new syhth) and manually enter the parameters.
For piano and organ not too much work, but the synth takes time.
If you would search the forum, you could find many threads with that context

Oh look, a thread asking whether it’s possible to transfer settings from a Stage 2 to a Stage 3!
Is it Friday already?

Maybe Johannes can create a sticky topic in the Stage forum with frequently asked questions?
We can contribute to that with pm?

Hi all,
indeed keeping useful answers together makes lots of sense. Remember we had created the Nord FAQ here:
http://www.norduserforum.com/nord-user-faq.php
I added the point about the NS3 file format.
Anyone interested to help out by editing it as we go along is invited to join (see the bottom of the FAQ page.
Cheers,
Johannes

How rude. Really, is this the way you help people?

No, @analogika usually spends a great deal of time explaining things to people, helping, suggesting possibly solutions, workarounds etc.
But I guess that seeing the
same question being asked repeatedly, even within the top 20 hits on the first page or so, can lead to some fatigue in typing long answers that are already available via a search or -- in this case -- even by just skimming the topics on the first page... And I guess the "Friday" comment indicates that it currently is asked weekly, or something.

Apologies if I came across as overly testy.
But really, if people aren't going to use the search feature to turn up one of the fifteen or twenty threads on this, surely at least looking over the
very first page of the forum they're posting to would be a minimum effort to not be considered rude?

No, common, he was just kidding a bit, as Baekaard said, he has spent hundreds time in helping people but yes, this question has been asked so many times that it's sometime surprising to see people not using the tool the website offers...
But I unsderstand if you are not used to the website, it could feel this way but when I saw his post, I was going to post this:
But didn't do it...
