detachable mounting plate

Hi everyone,

I'm wondering if there is any way to replace the mounting plate to a detachable one. This plate seems to be a general one 0,9" so there should be a solution. I could carry my nord drum 3p much easier without the mounting plate, which I'm using anyway.

Hi,

Yeah, I also would like it to come off more easliy. One workaround could be to have just one wing nut screw and strong velcro tape. I'm gonna try it myself!

I've bought a nord drum carrying case (it's really good, worth the investment!) and they've included screws that you can use with hand so it is really easy to remove the mounting plate. Wanted to attach a photo but I don't know how to add it to the comment.
