I just turned on my Stage 3 Compact to find a white vertical line going down the main OLED display. It started out of the blue, with the board having sat in the same place since Sunday night. I played it only last night and didn’t have the problem.

Has anyone else had this? Parts of the line would dim as I would use the board but then come back.

I bought this from Guitar Center last summer. It was one of the first boards to come to the US. If the display needs to be repaired or replaced who do I go to for that?

If the problem persists, you definetely need to bring your Stage to GuitarCenter, and they will send it to Nord’s American Service Center (Pablo)

Just to update on this, I put in a support ticket on the Nord site and Pablo got back to me very quickly. I'm taking it to the nearest authorized repair shop in Dallas.

Unfortunately they are backed up by three weeks before they can even look at it, so it looks like it will be a long time until I get my Nord back up and running. Good thing I have a backup rig!

I just got my NS3 back from the repair shop after being there for two months. When I powered it on I saw that the same line glitch was still on the screen, albeit much more slightly. I didn't have time to sit with it to see if the glitch got worse while the board was on, which is what was happening before.

Argh! I guess I need to email Pablo again…

Hi Pablo,

You're replying on a 4 year old topic, so I'm not sure if Stringtapper is still active.
But I guess you have to contact a dealer/repairshop to get this fixed.

I have a similar problem with a Nord Electro 6 HP 73. The screen light is way off, can hardly read it although it’s still showing somehow. Anyone knows where to get any parts or how to have the problem fixed by the Nord crew? Thanks in advance!
